This year’s color is one that Pantone actually designed: PANTONE 17-3938 Very Peri, a red violet-infused blue hue. It’s described as sprightly, joyous, and dynamic, as well as a “color whose courageous presence encourages personal inventiveness and creativity.” With a “novel perspective and vision of the trusted and beloved blue color family,” it “places the future ahead in a new light.”
