Did you know that the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has ranked corded window treatments as a top hidden danger to children? Curious toddlers or rolling infants can get caught in dangling cords, which is a strangulation risk that can happen in a matter of seconds. If you have window fashions that are corded, be sure to reduce the risk by moving beds, cribs, other furniture, and toys away from windows and by keeping the cords out of reach by cutting them short or tying them up.
