Kitchen Saved in Surprise AZ
We had a customer in Surprise, AZ that had ongoing issues with her new built home including missing cabinets, misaligned cabinets and cabinets that were off center. After trying to work with the builder for an extended period the customer gave up.
Enter Altra Home Decor
The customer wanted symmetry and cabinets. Unfortunately we were unable to match the builder provided cabinets/color perfectly, so we went with the next best option which was open shelving. The one shade difference wouldn’t be noticed, and it would appear balanced as fillers wouldn’t be needed.
We added the open shelving at the extension of the kitchen and replaced the cabinets to either side of the stove with open shelving to avoid using the fillers which had originally been placed on one side only making it appear off balance.
We reused the crown from the removed cabinets to finish off the cabinets where it would not be open. We were able to match the backsplash and grout, taking it to the ceiling as if it was all completed at the same time. The products we used were Masterbrand Diamond Floating Shelves in white and Emser Glitz Value with Prism Cape Gray Grout and Brushed Nickel Schluter.
Needless to say, the customer was extremely happy to finally have her kitchen completely done, and we were glad to be there to help.
