Kitchen Backsplash Needs Dramatic Overhaul
We got a call from a customer who told us she needed our help with her kitchen backsplash project that she has wanted to do for years. She said her old outdated backslash was the first thing you see when you enter her home and lacked the “wow” factor was dreaming of.
In-home Design Consultation
We discussed a few of her ideas on the phone and she said she had some pictures she had cut out of a magazine to show us. We schedule a complimentary in-home design consultation to begin the process of putting a plan together to turn her drab kitchen backsplash into a showstopper.
After walking through the kitchen, we sat down and talked about her wish list and then her budget. It is always important to have the budget discussed right at the start and to have a small contingency fund for overages that may incur. The worst thing you could do is come up with a design that the customer loves, but doesn’t work within the budget.
Kitchen Backsplash Transformation Starts
A combination of marble and glass was used to created dramatic feature backsplash wall in the in kitchen. We selected 3”x6” glass subway tile in whisper grey with polished marble liner edge pieces from UBC. We also added Field tile from UBC’s Imagination Collection that combined polished marble and two colors of glass in different sized for a one of a kind look.
We decided to use UCB tile because they offer the best quality and they can meet the demands of our customers. This is important, so our customers don’t have to wait. They also constantly keep their designs fresh and innovative. Plus their warehouse is located right in Phoenix, AZ
In the end the client was ecstatic with the “wow” factor her kitchen now offers when you enter the home.
