About Pirouette Window Shadings

In 1996 Hunter Douglas introduced Pirouette Window Shadings, which are made with soft horizontal fabric vanes that appear to be floating gracefully in the window. The shading provides precise light control through the sheer backing. Pirouette Window Shadings combines the best of a classic fabric shade with the ability to control light in a total window covering solution. With Pirouette Window Shadings, you now have the option of an elegant, soft fabric alternative for your window covering needs. Pirouette Window Shadings will add elegance and sophistication to any room in your home. The shadings come in two vane sizes—4” and 5”—and in seven fabric families with 65 colors. You can choose either semi-opaque or room-darkening fabrics, so you can get the exact room darkness you want.
