New Designer Banded Shades
The interior design industry continues to introduce new products, colors, and options. These emerging trends with exciting new technologies can provide the perfect solutions for your home. New for this summer are the Designer Banded Shades by Hunter Douglas. These shades feature alternating sheer fabric with bands of solid fabric, which provides the perfect solution for view-through, light control, and privacy. The Designer Banded shade is extremely flexible. It can be opened or closed in the raised or lowered position. This option is not available with wood or faux wood blinds, and you can’t do this with a cellular shade.
Genius Design
Designed with a square fabric-wrapped cassette, the Designer Banded Shade emulates the look of a shade with two layers of fabric. The bottom rail bar adds to the fashion-forward look of this shade. It actually tapers the fabric from the top of the shade to bottom. The shade comes standard with a custom clutch lifting system that provides shade-to-shade lift uniformity.
Window Treatment Functions
In addition to the custom clutch system, you can also select the Hunter Douglas exclusive lifting system called UltraGlide®, which features a retractable cord system. The beauty of this lift system is that the cord length never changes—perfect for a nice, clean appearance. Also available is the new SoftTouch™ Motorization system. Designed with a simple wand to control shade operation, this intuitive lifting system allows you to gently pull down to close the shades and push up to open them. Both the UltraGlide® and SoftTouch™ Motorization system provide superior child safety as there are no exposed cords.
