Adding More Storage in a Small Kitchen in Surprise AZ

We received a call from Peggi and RJ from Sun City Grand, a community in Surprise AZ asking if we could help with them with their outdated kitchen with limited storage. Loving a challenge, an appointment was set the next day so I could see for myself.

I was warmly greeting and immediately taken into the kitchen. The couple explained the kitchen has little storage and the storage they do have is almost useless. After looking around, I saw a wasted small closet to the left of the refrigerator. There was also a small pantry, but it was difficult to reach to the back and only had half depth shelving inside. But I could see possibilities.

New Kitchen Layout

The new kitchen layout had us centering the refrigerator and adding two pantries with roll out shelves on each side and cabinets above for those items used occasionally. This tripled their storage space, as well as giving the kitchen a more modern look.

The maple cabinets with contemporary door handles and granite slab added a sleek and clean appearance. Lastly, we changed out appliances with the new matte black stainless finish to complete the transformation.

Peggi and RJ are over the moon about how much storage they have now, but more importantly they love the updated look and feel of their new kitchen!
